Drinking Water Update – Additional Potable Water Available
October 20, 2021 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit has potable bottles of water available for residents on Wednesday, October 20th, Thursday, October 21st, and Friday, October 22nd 2021.

-           Nakasuk School parking lot, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM

-           AWG Complex parking lot, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM

Household limits will be in effect throughout the water distribution. We recommend that this water be used for consumption only.

Residents are reminded to wear a mask, and that social distancing is required. Children are to be accompanied by an adult and require supervision at all times in water distribution areas due to the volume of vehicular traffic.

The City would also like to remind residents who are unable to pick water up from these locations that they can contact Water hotline at 867-979-5603, between the hours of 9AM and 5PM, Monday through Friday to arrange to have water delivered.

The City would like to thank residents for their patience and understanding during this difficult time.
