Inclement Weather - Winter Storm Warning
February 11, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

17:00 - The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning.

City facilities remain open and municipal services, such as trucked services, landfill and garbage pickup, are operational.

Residents are asked to remain alert and exercise caution when operating motor vehicles, as conditions may quickly deteriorate.

Residents on trucked services are asked to reduce their water consumption and wastewater output.

The City is closely monitoring the weather and road conditions and will update residents by Public Service Announcement, in the event of deteriorating conditions that may impact City services.
