Iqaluit Fire Department responds to fire at D J Specialties
May 12, 2021 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

At 9:30 a.m. on May 12, 2021, twenty-one (21) Iqaluit Emergency Services Staff responded to a fire at D J Specialties store.

 

The crews worked extremely well together to bring the fire to extinguishment. There were no injuries to the public or responders.

 

The Office of the Fire Marshal is conducting an investigation into the cause of the fire.

 

Iqaluit Emergency Services would like to thank all of our community partners including Public works for providing water trucks, Bylaw officers, the OFM and RCMP.
