Reaching Home Program – Call for Proposals

The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents that the Reaching Home team is now accepting applications to fund projects, for the current fiscal year (2024-2025), aimed to prevent or reduce inflows into homelessness in Iqaluit,

Funded by the Government of Canada’s Reaching Home Program, funding aims to prevent and reduce homelessness across Canada. In Iqaluit, the City of Iqaluit administers this funding.

Funding totaling $600,000 is available for activities under the following categories:

  • Housing Services
  • Prevention and Shelter Diversion
  • Client Support Services
  • Capital Investments
  • Coordination of Resources and Data Collection.

Applications should include a project description and detailed budget.

The deadline for final applications is Friday, May 31st, 2024. Applications can be sent by email to ReachingHome@Iqaluit.ca. Accepted applicants will be informed by June 30, 2024.
