Toonik Tyme Civic Holiday Scheduled - Friday, April 5, 2024
March 27, 2024 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City is pleased to announce that the annual civic holiday for Toonik Tyme will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024. As per By-law 735 and amendment 771, this full-day civic holiday, scheduled on the first Friday of the festival, is intended to allow residents time to participate in event activities.

There will be no regular trucked-services for water delivery, waste-water removal and garbage pick-up on Friday April 5th.

All City Facilities (including recreation facilities) will be closed on Friday, April 5th. The landfill will reopen for regular hours on Saturday April 6th
