Leave No Trace
The goal of following Leave No Trace principles is to have you and your group leave an area or facility in the the same shape or better than you found. Public spaces like recreation facilities, parks, playgrounds, trails and trailheads are set aside for all Iqalummiut to enjoy. We have a collective responsibility to protect and safeguard these space for the next person, animal and generation that comes along. To do this, we are asking that everyone take all of their belongings and their garbage with them when you leave, and try to minimize your footprint when you're on the land or using one of Recreation's facilites.
