TUESDAY ROAD CLOSURE IN FRONT OF BUILDING 1072
The City would like to advise residents that in order to install a service connection line to building 1072, the Allanngua Street will be closed from 9 AM Tuesday, March 26 to 5 PM Friday, March 29, 2019.
Construction crews will be on-site to help direct traffic and pedestrians.

WELLNESS FUNDING CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The City of Iqaluit is now accepting applications for Wellness funding. Wellness funds are provided to local non-profit organizations, schools, daycares and agencies that host Wellness related programs and projects.
To be eligible for funding, programs and projects must fit into one of the following five categories:
 Homelessness
 Food Insecurity
 Recreation/Sports
 Culture/Special Events
 Education/Innovation

EARLY DETECTION OF FROZEN WATER LINES SAVES TIME AND REDUCES COSTS
The City would like to remind home owners that they are responsible for monitoring their homes for any sign of frozen water pipes, and to notify the City’s Public Works and Engineering Department as soon as possible. For rental units, residents are asked to let their landlord know of any issue regarding frozen pipes.

Alternative parking required for AstroHill Tenants and Brown Building Employees
The City is advising residents and guests at the Astro-Hill Complex, which includes the Eight- Storey and Six-Storey apartment buildings, the W.G. Brown Building, as well as the Frobisher Inn Hotel, that in order to continue repairs to the main water system, the access road to this complex is being excavated and will not be accessible starting SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2019.

JANUARY 21 UPDATE: PARKING TO ACCESS ROAD TEMPORARILY AVAILABLE FOR ASTRO-HILL COMPLEX
The City is advising residents and guests at the Astro-Hill Complex that access to parking for the Eight-Storey and Six-Storey apartment buildings, W.G. Brown Building, as well as the Frobisher Inn Hotel has been temporarily restored, while the replacement part to complete the repair is being acquired.
