National Indigenous Peoples Day Events

June 5, 2024 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit Recreation Department invites the community to celebrate National Indigenous People’s Day with organized events on Friday, June 21st, 2024.

Below is an event schedule for events, hosted by the City of Iqaluit, on Friday, June 21st, 2024:

  • 12:00PM to 1:00PM: Elders Luncheon at the Elders Qammaq
  • 12:00PM to 1:00PM: BBQ with the Iqaluit Fire Department at the Summer Square
  • 12:00PM to 1:00PM: Concert at the Summer Square
  • 1:00PM to 2:00PM: Elders Bingo at the Elders Qammaq
  • 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM: Free Turf at the AWG Aren
  • 5:30 PM 8:00 PM: Free Skate at the Anaitok Arena
