Remembrance Day Reflection
November 11, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut
The City of Iqaluit honours the service and sacrifice of all who have served, and continue to serve, in the Canadian Armed Forces. On Remembrance Day, we pause with Canadians across the country to reflect on the profound legacy of those who gave of themselves in the name of peace.
We remember the soldiers, peacekeepers, and support personnel who stood in the face of adversity and the families who carried the burden of separation and loss. Their strength and commitment shaped the freedoms and safety we cherish today.
We also recognize and thank the veterans who call Iqaluit home. Your presence and contributions are deeply valued and continue to inspire our community.
As we remember, may we strive to honour their legacy through our everyday actions, showing care, respect, and responsibility in how we live together.
Lest we forget.
