MARCH 17th, 2020
COVID-19, Recreation Response
Effective immediately, all City of Iqaluit Recreation facilities and programs are closed to the public until further notice.
If your Aquatic Centre pass, receation rental or booking is impacted by this closure please contact 975-8544 (Aquatic Centre) or 979-5611 (all other Recreation facilites.)
The City will reassess the cancellations and closures by April 6, 2020 and notify the public of any changes.
We here at the Recreation Department know that it can be challenging to be unexpectedly stuck inside by yourself, or with the kids off school. So! We have scoured the internet and have come up with some resources that you might want to check out. Keep the kids (and maybe yourselves too) busy with crafts, games and other activities while we wait for the worst of this pandemic to pass.
