Boil Water Advisory in Lower Iqaluit
August 4, 2021 – Iqaluit, Nunavut
Please be advised of a boil water advisory in Lower Iqaluit on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.
Location of boil water advisory: 100s, 200s, 300s.
This is a precautionary measure due to a break in the water line during a repair to our water infrastructure.
The City recommends that all water used for consumption and dental hygiene is brought to a rolling boil for a minimum of one full minute. Water can boiled in a pot over the stove, allowed to cool and stored in a covered container or refrigerated for later use.
The City of Iqaluit will release a public service announcement when the boil water advisory is lifted.
