Low Water Pressure in Plateau is Being Investigated
October 6, 2020 – Iqaluit, Nunavut
Due to an emergency water valve failure at 3 p.m. today, Thursday, October 1st, a 48hr precautionary boil water recommendation is in immediate affect in the Plateau area.
The City recommends that residents in these areas boil their water for one minute before drinking. Water can boiled, allowed to cool and stored in a covered container for later use.
The boil water recommendation ends at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020.

Cancelled Water Boil Advisory for Happy Valley on September 8
September 8, 2020 – Iqaluit, Nunavut
Please be advised that the water boil advisory in the Happy Valley area scheduled for 3 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020 3 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 10th, 2020 has been cancelled.
The scheduled repairs for September 8th have been postponed to a later date. The water line has not been affected and water is safe to drink without boiling.
Please be advised that a water interruption will be taking place in Happy Valley on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020 from approximately 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to allow for scheduled repairs to our water infrastructure.

Please be advised that a water interruption will be taking place in Tundra Ridge on Monday, August 31st, 2020 from approximately 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to allow for scheduled repairs to our water infrastructure.
