Call out for participants in the Canada Day Parade
June 2, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to extend an invitation to individuals, local non-profits organizations and businesses to participate in our Canada Day parade.

For more information or to register to participate in the parade, please contact Matilda Pinksen at m.pinksen@iqaluit.ca by June 25, 2025.

Guidelines for participating floats:

All floats and/or individual participants must register with the City of Iqaluit Recreation Department, in advance of the Parade commencement.

All participants must use decorations, music, float design and/or costumes. Please ensure vehicles towing floats are decorated as well.

Parade entries must be structurally sound and safely designed and the towing vehicle must be in a safe condition to operate. Safety chains and locking hitches must be used when towing a trailer. Standing persons are require a secure railing, or similar, to hold onto.
