Deep Sea Port Blasting Notice

June 19th, 2020 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

Please be advised that blasting operations for construction of the Deep Sea Port is scheduled for Saturday, June 20th, 2020 at 6:30 PM and Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020, at 6:30 PM.

 

The causeway will be inaccessible during blasting. For your safety, residents need to vacate a 500-metre area due to thrown debris caused by the blasting.

 

Tower Arctic, who is operating on the behalf of the Government of Nunavut, will provide updates on timing of the blasting through their website and with public service announcements.
