Holiday Schedule and Closure – City of Iqaluit Recreation

The City would like to inform residents of the holiday hours and closures, to recreation facilities, over the winter holidays.

Aquatic Centre Holiday Hours

• December 24th: Holiday Hours (12:00 – 4:00PM)
• December 25 – 26: Closed
• December 27 – 28: Holiday Hours (12:00 – 4:00PM)
• December 29 – 30: Regular Hours
• December 31: Holiday Hours (12:00 – 4:00PM)
• January 1: Closed
• January 2 – 3: Holiday Hours (12:00 – 4:00PM)
• January 4: Regular Hours

Arena (AWG Arena or Arnaitok Arena) Holiday Closures

Both arenas are will be closed to the public and for rentals on the below dates:

• December 24th: Closed
• December 25 – 26: Closed
• December 31: Closed
• January 1: Closed

Rental Holiday Closures

There will be no rentals for Abe Okpik Hall and the Elders Qammaq on the below dates:

• December 24
• December 25
• January 1
