Reminder messages will be issued leading up to each event date.
Household hazardous waste includes many items commonly found in kitchens, garages, and bathrooms. These materials may be toxic, flammable, corrosive, or reactive, and must be handled with care when disposing.
Items accepted for disposal include antifreeze, adhesives, aerosols, automotive and household batteries, cleaners, corrosives, fuels, mercury, oxidizers, poisons, paint cans, spray paint, pharmaceuticals, solvents, and electronic waste.
Items that will not be accepted include used oil, oil filters and containers, tires, propane tanks, biological or infectious waste, radioactive waste, explosives, ammunition, and industrial waste.
Residents are asked to keep product labels on any items brought in for disposal. This helps ensure materials are properly identified and handled safely.
The City encourages everyone to take part in these collection events to support a safer, cleaner environment.
