Join Our Canada Day Parade!
June 28, 2023 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit wants to extend an invitation to local, Inuit, and non-profit organizations: We are looking for local and Inuit organizations, non-profit or otherwise, to participate in our Canada Day parade!

This Canada Day we are focusing on showing our community what resources and services are available.

Guidelines for participating floats:
• All floats and/or individual participants must be registered with the City of Iqaluit Recreation in advance of the Parade starting.
• All participants must use decorations, music, float design and/or costumes. Please ensure vehicles towing floats are decorated as well.
• Parade entries must be structurally sound and safely designed with tow vehicle in a safe condition to operate. Safety chains and locking hitches must be used when towing a trailer. Standing persons are require a secure railing or similar to hold onto.
