Scheduled Water Interruption with Boil Water Advisory in Tundra Valley
November 25, 2020 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

Please be advised that a water interruption in Tundra Valley will take place on Thursday, November 26, 2020 from approximately 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

 

Location of water interruption: 2230,2231,2232,2233,2236,2237,2238,2240,2241,2242,2245,2249,2251,2711,2713

2715,2726,2728 and 2730.

 

The City of Iqaluit is issuing a boil water advisory for these residents.

 

This is a precautionary measure due to a break in the water line during a repair to our water infrastructure.

 

The City recommends that all water used for consumption and dental hygiene is brought to a rolling boil for a minimum of one full minute. Water can boiled in a pot over the stove, allowed to cool and stored in a covered container or refrigerated for later use.

 

The City of Iqaluit will release a Public Service Announcement when the boil water advisory is lifted.
