Full Road Closure – Fred Coman Street

July 16, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents that civil work is scheduled in the area of Fred Coman Street between July 17 and July 25, 2025.

As a result, partial or full road closures may occur during this period, depending on the timing of excavation and the location of underground infrastructure. The closures are necessary to ensure the safety of workers and the public while work is underway.

Drivers and pedestrians are advised to use caution and follow posted signage. Delays and detours may be in place, and residents are encouraged to plan accordingly.

The City of Iqaluit thanks residents for their understanding and cooperation.
