Full Road Closure – Paurngaq Crescent between 2514 and 2538

April 26, 2024 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of multiple complete road closures (map below) affecting Paurngaq Crescent between 2514 and 2538. These closures are necessary to ensure the safety of residents during the filming of scenes for the “North of North”.

 

The closure is anticipated to be in effect Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 7:00AM to 10:00PM. Should the weather not permit for filming on that April 30, the date will be moved to a more suitable date between Wednesday, May 1 and Tuesday May 7.

 

Residents, businesses and their visitors will still have access to their properties; however, they may expect to encounter slight delays, to allow for the conclusion of filming activities.

 

Trucked services will continue to service the affected areas.

 

The City of Iqaluit apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their understanding.
