Full Road Closure and Traffic Control on Allanngua Street
May 1, 2023 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of the road closures and traffic control measures being implemented along Allanngua Street - from Akilliq Drive. This will allow for road repairs to be conducted.

Local traffic will still be able to access business buildings throughout the duration of work. Detour routes provided are along Mivvik Street and sections of Akilliq Drive. The site layout and traffic control plan is shown below. These measures are anticipated to be in effect between:

       • May 2nd – May 18th
