The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that the Apex Bridge will be closed to all traffic from Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 25, 2025.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to prepare the bridge for the installation of pavement at the bridge’s approach, which is scheduled to occur later this summer.

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of a partial road closure on Umiaq Crescent, which will be in effect from 8:00 AM on Thursday, May 22 until 8:00 AM on Tuesday, May 27.
This closure is required to allow contractors to safely continue work on the new building at 158 Umiaq Crescent. During this time, only limited access through the area will be available, and traffic controls will be in place.
